Introduction of the option

软粒子 were added to the game on September 6, 2012 with Update 1.100.0

This technology improves the displayed effects. This is achieved by smoothing the edges of the effect itself. For example, when a 坦克 is driving through the bushes and trees, visually it looks a lot "softer". This effect can significantly reduce帧数. Initially, this option was enabled by default for all 玩家.

软粒子 can be enabled only with hardware acceleration on Windows, MacOS and Linux.

In update 1.105.0 软粒子 were disabled by default. In order to switch them on, you need to go to 设置 menu (see the link below).

Enabling the option

Depending on the performance of your PC you can enable and disable this function in设置. Don't forget to switch on the hardware acceleration.
