Guide to 马格南
Appearance
马格南 has one of the longest barrels in the game and is designed like a long-barrel howitzer. 马格南 is the second 炮塔 ever to have an animation feature (barrel retracts when a shot is fired) along with 极速炮 (spinning barrel). 马格南 also has a somewhat transparent dotted trajectory that disappears a few seconds after your shot lands. It is the only way one can get a clue about where a 马格南's hideout is.
Key Features
- The vertical rotation of 马格南 is controllable by using the 'Z', 'X', and 'C' keys with the 加强炮架装备改造.
- The shot's velocity is controlled by the 宇宙 bar. A single tap slow launch, and the longer you hold before releasing, the faster the shell flies.
- The barrel can only rotate between 0° and 90° (refer to the image on the right).

- 射击 at 90° will make the projectile go straight up in the air and come down, resulting in severe self-伤害 and possibly self-destruction if you remain in the same location.
- 马格南 deals extremely 高伤害 per shot.
- 马格南 has the biggest 溅射伤害 in the game.
- The shot's explosion has substantial 冲击力, which can disturb the enemy’s 移动 or aim.
- The 炮塔 is difficult to master due to its unique arched trajectory and unusual 瞄准 system
- Slow reload.
- Risks self-伤害 and possible self-destruction due to 溅射.
Tips for using 马格南
- Aim at 小组 of 红队 to maximize 伤害 output. 暴击 hits are especially powerful for this, because they retain their full 伤害 throughout the 溅射伤害射程.
- A shot can be held fully charged up (射击 when the spacebar is released). By 射击 this shot on a 低 trajectory at a nearby enemy, and then quickly following it up a single-tap close 射程 shot, you can deal a ton of 伤害 in a short amount of time. Combined with the 助推器 or 危机无人机, this is often enough to overwhelm even well-armored 坦克.
- 马格南 is a very long 射程 gun, but it can be used in just about any situation as long as it isn't too close to any 坦克. You can tap spacebar once to 射击 a short ranged shot that can hit nearby 红队, or you can 启动加速度 it up to 100 percent and 射击 across the 地图, or anything in-between! The possibilities are endless.
- Since the shots 关注 an arched trajectory, they can hit 红队 hiding behind cover. The 溅射伤害帮助 with this too, so you can try hitting a nearby wall.
- Turning your 底盘 and rocking it back and forth can 帮助 skilled 驱动器 add finesse to 瞄准 the 炮塔
Properly Pairing 马格南
底盘
The 底盘 you choose to pair with your 马格南 is rather subjective and depends on what your preferences are. For those who wish to stay alive and dominate 死亡混战 matches or 黑色营地 out full 互夺军旗/控制点 matches, heavy 底盘 are the go-to’s. They have large hit points but 低速度, which makes them best for staying in the base and hitting 红队 from afar. 阿瑞斯 in particular is a popular pairing because its 过速装置 can travel long distances across the 地图 or serve as a backup defense when attacked up close.
Medium 底盘 are a popular choice for a more versatile play style that mixes shooting from a safe distance with more direct entanglements with 红队. 维京 and 猎人中甲 are particularly nice pairings due to their 高 maneuverability and their 过速装置' strong synergy with the 炮塔: 维京 lets you launch a terrifying volley of 高-启动加速度 shots, and 猎人中甲 can incapacitate a 小组 of 红队 that can then be finished off with a single shot.
马格南 is also occasionally used with light 底盘, mostly 蜂王 due to its impressively 高转弯速度 and its 过速装置 that removes 护甲, guarantees 暴击 hits, and reveals enemy 职务. All of these effects are excellent pairings with 马格南's mechanics. Be careful about self-伤害 when playing 马格南 on a light and mobile 底盘! A 防护模块 against 马格南 is recommended.
无人机
Two favorites for 马格南 are 助推器 and 危机, with their abilities to boost 伤害 beyond normal 等级. 助推器 is a more reliable all-rounder, while 危机, though more difficult and expensive to use, can get an edge by briefly activating 伤害模式 before the shot hits and switching back to 护甲模式 during the length reload and recharge.
战斗 Types
马格南's large 溅射半径 and slow reload typically prevent it from being an efficient attacking unit. However, these features are what make 马格南 unparalleled in defense. 马格南 defends best when paired with a bulky 底盘, especially in 橄榄球, 突袭, and 互夺军旗 where it can be quite effective at blocking if positioned correctly.
In 团队对战, you can get a good K/D ratio by staying in the base and shooting from behind cover, but this does tend to be a slow-paced playstyle. A riskier strategy that 允许 for more fast-paced kills is to take a medium 底盘 or even 蜂王 out into the mid-field where you can pop in and out of cover and fight at more of a medium 射程. This strategy also works well for 控制点, where moving about the 地图 is important to maintain your 团队's 控制.
Excelling in 死亡混战 with 马格南 can be particularly challenging due to the unpredictability of foes spawning nearby. Your best bet is typically to rely on 高 burst 伤害 to get quick kills, and to occupy a 宇宙 where you can't be attacked from many directions at once.
Playing Style

马格南 makes a fantastic defensive solo unit. Its titanic 伤害 satisfyingly compensates for the slow reload. 马格南’s overwhelming 溅射 and knockback can take out 蜂群 of approaching 红队 or individual attackers attempting to acrobatically capture a 旗子 if used correctly.
There are two variables that concern 马格南; angle and 启动加速度. Keep in mind you can only change the angle if you have an 装备改造 that does so. 马格南 is automatically defaulted to fire at 8°, which is also a good angle for hitting short, powerful, flat shots. Anything under 10° at under 10% 启动加速度 is good for hitting foes who are hiding directly under your 坦克. 20-50° is generally good for hitting medium-ranged shots whilst 55-70° would be most appropriate for long-射程 shots. 75° or above are best for scaling 高 structures.
Keep in mind that 马格南 has two different ways to hit an enemy; with flat, powerful blasts or lobbed, weaker shots (refer to image on the right).Note that these recommendations also depend on the 职务 of your 坦克 and on smaller variables, such as the height of the 底盘 or terrain of the 地图.
星级挑战
马格南 is a complex 炮塔. It takes good judgment and requires the user to estimate the required trajectory to hit 红队. There is a UI element that 帮助 estimate where the shot will fall, but it still takes lots of practice and anticipation. 马格南’s 溅射伤害 is the biggest in the game, which be fatal if the user takes the brunt of the 伤害. Game awareness is 暴击 to avoid getting surprised up close.
To 帮助 combat these 星级挑战, look for these things:
- 大小- 地图 should be medium-large sized - providing a good view and a spacious battlefield for 马格南 to effectively play in. In 上将, prefer 地图 with distinct bases and a big midfield.
- Cover- Direct cover from the enemy base is necessary.
- A Governing Point- A point in which a long-射程炮塔 can reach all points of the 地图 is generally referred to be a 'governing point' or a 'vantage point'. A 地图 with one could prove to be a good fit for a 马格南. Doesn't necessarily have to be at a great height. (For example 寂静, 山顶城堡...)
- A Spacious Base- While the battlefield itself should be spacious, the base should too, 关注 this property. Any distractions by friendly-射击 teammates or crazy 驱动器 could prove to be fatal. (For example 柏林巷站, 古代城堡, 公路大战...)
Specialized Tactics
“Head’s Up!” Tactic

It is possible to scale tall structures by shooting at 高 angles (refer to the image on the right). This is fantastic because 红队 will never see it coming and you’re safe, hiding a distance away from them. This feature can be capitalized on in 地图 that have multiple 等级 (such as 海滨中心, 天空管道, 山顶城堡, 要塞3C) or 其他地图 which have 高 and 低 points (核电站, 峡谷, 遗弃工厂 for example).
“Guess and Check” Tactic
Once you have successfully identified and claimed a useful vantage point, try to find areas where 红队 tend to bunch up, either when trying to launch a big counter-attack or when trying to defend. A good example of this is in 亚历山大罗夫斯克, where the Blue base is often defended by clusters of 火焰炮 or 冰风暴 users. Make sure to find your target then keep shooting until you find the ideal angle. Guess the angle and adjust according to the results. Once you get used to doing this, you’ll become a master at remembering trajectories in different scenarios.
“King of the 山岗” Tactic
Finding a Governing, or a Vantage Point (defined above) can prove to be highly successful. These points are best when they offer 防护 from long-distance foes, waiting for you to reveal part of your 坦克. 地图 like 欧洲村庄 and 柏林巷站 offer a splendid variety of great vantage points. If on a higher 等级 (要塞3C or 寂静 for example), shooting with 低启动加速度 and a medium angle will make attacking light 底盘 easy pickings! Hitting from above is a smart idea, so long as that you are still shielded from enemy fire.
Baiting 红队
坦克手 tend to run towards two things; 旗子 and 金箱子! If your teammate has the enemy 旗子, you can rest assured that a bunch of faithful 守卫者 will take the bait and come running to return their 旗子. This is where you can capitalize and get a nice amount of 伤害 done whilst maintaining a safe distance.
Choosing targets
It is pretty much 普通 sense to go after a 坦克 which either is of a relatively lower modification or is heavily damaged unless situations compel you to do otherwise. However, while this is good for individual kills, it is not the way to maximize overall 伤害 output with 马格南. 马格南 is like a real-life artillery cannon, designed to provide support for offensive campaigns. For instance, a 马格南 should fire its shells at the enemy base instead of picking off solo 红队 around it. If the enemy 团队 is running a two-pronged attack on your base, it's better if the 马格南 opts for the faction that is using, say an 稀有 entry point to the base or is advancing by tiptoeing through the flanks. The rest of the 守卫者 can deal with the 其他 faction.
Maximizing the 伤害 per shot is another thing. For example, when shooting at a clump of 红队, shooting at their center of 质量 is useful. What if one of them is an 磁力炮 and you didn't see that from a distance? You injure both of them at one go. The same applies to multiple 坦克 converging or diverging from a spot. 射击 the spot, not the 坦克. Direct hits are great but you want 最高 overall 伤害 output! However, the surroundings can make their presence felt, too. If one of the 坦克 is turning around a corner or going into a safe 动感区域 (for the chosen angle), a direct hit could be the optimum shot.
Dealing With Multi-Leveled 地图
When you are at an altitude higher or lower than that of an opponent, rock your 坦克 backwards or forth to aim your 炮塔 slightly up or down. You can do this by driving in one direction and suddenly braking or changing direction. This will tilt the front of your 底盘 either upwards or downwards, depending on which direction you moved last. This 允许 you to aim your 炮塔 at a higher or lower angle for a very brief period of time before 铁塔 pulls you 等级 once more. Much practice is required before one can effectively use this technique. By rocking your 坦克, you can easily hit 红队 hiding above or nearby below you.
Another way to change the angle of aim for your 炮塔 is to make use of inclined surfaces. If your foe is above you, stay beneath the ramp, where they won’t be able to reach you, and aim a weak upwards shot to surprise them. If you find yourself at the top of the ramp, adjust accordingly - maintain distance and shower them with 低启动加速度, downwards shot.
Advanced Tactics
When you have mastered the previous tactics, try incorporating some of these tactics into your gameplay:
- Back shot - When you are running away from an enemy, 射击 up at 90°, and drive away through the 溅射动感区域. The enemy will have to either stop and let your shot fall in front of them, or drive-through and take 伤害. Similarly, you can also drive up a ramp and 射击 behind you with 低启动加速度 and a 90° angle, hitting anyone standing behind you.
- Kamikaze - When death is inevitable, simply 射击 at 90° to at least get some 伤害 on 红队. This tactic is good for the 团队, unless in 团队对战 where you risk self-destructing.
- Smokescreen - When on 低 health and an enemy is preparing to finish you off, launch a weak shot at the ground near them to create a useful 雾 to blind your 红队 for a short 持续时间 while you attempt a getaway or wait till you recharge.
You will never be a great 马格南 user if you don’tenjoyshooting steadily and landing shots right on top of 红队. So whatever you do, make sure you 关注 this one, final tactic:
