Temperature is a状态效果of a 坦克 in战斗and an important attribute of the game mechanics. It has a neutral normal value (±0) and can be affected by some weapons in the game. 着火and 冷冻are possible, with the effect having a highest possible value of ±1.

If the 坦克’s temperature deviates from neutral, it automatically returns to neutral in quarter-second increments (1 tick= ¼ second). This occurs at specific rates: -2.5%/tick = -10%/sec at positive temperatures (着火) and +2.5%/tick = +10%/sec at negative temperatures (冷冻).

Temperature affects various 坦克 parameters. A positive temperature causes a 着火 effect, which translates into 伤害. A negative temperature 冰风暴 the 坦克, making it slower and less maneuverable.

The extent to which a 坦克’s temperature is actually affected depends on various parameters of the weapon causing the effect (action) and the affected 坦克 (reaction). 维修工具 and friendly 坦克 can also influence the temperature.

Destructive temperature change

This section deals with temperature changes that negatively impact the affected 坦克. They increase the temperature, either 冷冻 or heating the 坦克.

Causation

In the game, two 炮塔 and three 底盘 are capable of affecting temperature:火焰炮and冰风暴, as well as黄蜂轻甲,十字军, and独裁者with their过速装置.装备改造are available for 其他 that also affect temperature.极速炮is the only 炮塔 that affects the temperature of one’s own 坦克.

The resulting temperature change is updated every 0.25 seconds from the start of the effect. This time interval is also called a “tick”; one second consists of four ticks. The ticks are not uniform across a battlefield, so the temperature effects of two 炮塔 acting in parallel can be offset in time. 坦克 also return to their normal temperatures in increments of ticks.

The 速度 and 最高 temperature variation depend on the type of 装备改造 and, for 火焰炮 and 极速炮, also on themodificationand升级等级. For 火焰炮, the heating rate is also increased by the use of伤害提升.

The following table shows the standard temperature effects of the 装备. 装备改造 are not listed.

炮塔/底盘 Effect
火焰炮 The 最高 temperature achievable by a standard 火焰炮 is +0.15 to +0.5, and the heating rate is +0.15/sec to +0.3/sec. These values depend on themodificationand升级等级.伤害提升increases not only direct 伤害 but also the heating rate.
冰风暴 The 最低 temperature achievable by a standard 冰风暴 is -1.0, regardless of themodification等级, and the 冷冻 rate is -0.2/sec to -0.5/sec.
极速炮 A standard 极速炮 causes its own 坦克 to heat up after a certain period of continuous 射击. This time is 6 seconds, after which the heating rate increases to +0.25/sec. The 最高 achievable temperature is also +0.25.
黄蜂轻甲 黄蜂轻甲’s过速装置detonates a 炸弹 that inflicts various 状态效果. Among 其他 things, the temperature of 红队 within the effect 半径 is spontaneously increased by +1.0.
十字军 十字军’s过速装置冰风暴 an enemy if they survive the fired icicle, reducing their temperature by -1.0.
独裁者 独裁者’s过速装置spontaneously reduces the temperature of 红队 within 25 meters by -1.0.


Effects on a 坦克

The temperature of a 坦克 has a direct impact on its condition. The effect differs between the two conditions.

If a 坦克 is subjected to multiple temperature-altering influences, these will act in parallel and can even cancel each 其他 out if the effects are opposing. The 坦克’s automatic temperature adjustments also apply here.

着火

The 坦克 has a positive temperature and turns reddish. The symbolappears above the 坦克’s status bar.

If the 坦克 overheats, it counteracts this with a cooling effect of -0.025/tick = -0.1/sec. This inflicts 100 points of 着火伤害 per tick, which is added to the direct 伤害. This is independent of the actual temperature or whether 伤害 enhancers were used.护甲提升or 耐热性装备改造can reduce 着火伤害; when combined, the effect is multiplied.

冷冻

The 坦克 has a negative temperature and turns bluish. The symbolappears above the 坦克’s status bar.

When 冷冻, the affected 坦克 slows down and reduces the 炮塔’s rotation 速度. At a temperature of -1.0, the 底盘’s 速度 is reduced to 66% and the 炮塔’s rotation 速度 to 10%. Between a temperature of 0 and -1.0, the effect increases linearly.

Effect reduction through 装备改造

Equipping a 坦克 with装备改造affects the 速度 at which temperature changes occur. The 耐热性装备改造 halves the heating rate and 着火伤害, while the 耐寒性装备改造 halves the 冷冻 rate. However, these 装备改造 do not affect the thawing or cooling rate.

The 抗热底盘装备改造completely prevents the 坦克 from heating up and thus also from taking burn 伤害. Likewise, the 抗寒装备改造prevents the 坦克 from 冷冻.

Constructive temperature change

In contrast to destructive temperature changes, to which a 坦克 reacts negatively, some elements have a positive effect on a 坦克. The temperature is reduced in magnitude, thus thawing or cooling the 坦克.

Teammates’ 炮塔 can cause constructive temperature changes. A 团队 member with a 火焰炮 can unfreeze a 坦克 by 射击 at it, while a 冰风暴 can cool down a 着火 ally. The 速度 of the temperature changes corresponds to the heating or cooling rate of the respective 炮塔. 磁力炮 is also able to unfreeze or cool down teammates while 治疗.

Effects from 红队 can also alleviate a 坦克's temperature. A 着火坦克 will have its temperature reduced by attacks from enemy 冰风暴玩家 or the effects of 十字军 and 独裁者's 过速装置, and a frozen 坦克 will be thawed by the attack of a 火焰炮 or a 黄蜂轻甲's 炸弹. Use this to your advantage by engaging with 红队 that apply the opposite effect of the one you want to remove.

维修工具and the猛犸象过速装置 immediately set the 坦克 temperature to ±0 when activated.
