Guide to playing in 2042 effectively
概述：2042 is a 珍奇地图, but is very popular among 跑酷 entusiasts and even more popular at 低等级. It can be easily found at the bottom among the 服务器. 2042 is available to 玩家 who hold the 等级 of 一级军士长 and higher in the 等级 structure, though most don't see this 地图 outside of 一级准尉.

Tactics
死亡混战/团队对战
2042 is considered as one of the largest 地图 in 3D坦克 after 失落神庙, 柏林巷站 and 古代城堡. Although滑膛炮and the like are somewhat useful under the cramped environment, it’s better to 装备 a long 射程炮塔 such as激光炮,雷暴炮,极速炮or轰天炮. In 死亡混战, you're typically better off staying inside the tunnel and constantly peeking out from behind objects and 射击 to kill 红队, should you pick a mid- or long-ranged weapon. Once you have locked onto your target, 关注 it until you succeed in eliminating them and then return to the tunnel or anywhere else with ample cover. It is better to use雷暴炮或火龙珠如果你打算永久占据隧道，然而，由于这两种武器都可以通过溅射半径伤害或反弹弹药间接攻击。

Additionally, I highly suggest using火箭炮here. Remember, you don't have to use the 齐射 by locking onto someone. Just keep 射击 your rockets one-by-one and you'll definitely amass a great number of kills in no time. Why? Because, first of all, 防护 against 火箭炮 are scarce, and not many people know how to dodge it's rockets. If you want to use马格南黑色营地在墙旁边，位于地图之间，不断下雨的子弹在另一边。

As previously mentioned, you can apply the same principles in 互夺军旗 as in 死亡混战/团队对战. In regard to the 高玩家 density of the 地图, it’s obscenely hard to enter the enemy base, let alone capture a 旗子 - provided that the enemy has a strong defense. For both 团队, the optimal defense should consist of three 坦克: A猛犸象/轰天炮or a泰坦/极速炮sitting on the 旗子 for suppressing fire and onslaught stall, a维京/磁力炮behind it to both keep the stall alive and give chase to 玩家 that managed to slip away with the 旗子, and a猎人中甲/冰风暴at any point near the 旗子 to further slow down 隧道对抗. It is recommended to have more than one or two磁力炮在所有团队战斗中，仅仅因为他们独特的资产和必要时可以填补的多变角色。
As for attacking, try to sneak into the opposing base using the various tunnels or taking a long drive around the perimeter of the 地图. A solid attack strategy should consist of three prongs, taking various routes to meet in the center. Two 玩家 will focus on wreaking as much havoc as possible, while the third will use the chaos as cover to swipe the 旗子 and make a break for it. Organizing a small, mixed 简介团队 to 突袭 an opposing stronghold will end with varying 等级 of success, depending on the opponents in play and your 其他蓝队.
Another strategy is to utilize马格南and 黑色营地 near the middle wall. This strategy gives you 防护 - because you're in your base - and cover. Meanwhile, you'll just have to 射击 over the wall into the enemy base.
控制点
The tactics for 控制点关注 the same golden standard: get to the point, try to hold it for as long as possible, rinse, repeat. There are five 控制点 in 2042, with three to the west that are all quite close to each 其他, but not directly in the same line of fire. Another is on the raised platform next to the blue 旗子 and the last one is under the same platform, down a grassy slope. Down here you will find an entrance to a small tunnel that takes you to the west near the middle of the three 控制点. That being said, it is better to make use of tunnel as long as you can. The 地图's design has some favor towards the blue 团队, considering the distance traveled for both 团队 are not congruent, the red alliance having more ground to cover and more roads to traverse before reaching areas of 高-point density., since it has to travel longer to 控制 the points than the blue 团队. A火箭炮/泰坦-极速炮with a pocket磁力炮sitting on the highest ramp will 允许 one 团队 to dominate over that entire region. Try to cut off areas by deploying 地雷; at worst, it'll rip chunks out of heavier 底盘, making for an easier time handling them. 120 - 240 伤害 is nothing to scoff at.
